Welcome Back

The students have made a great start to Term 2, adapting so resiliently to the changes in place to ensure everyone's health and safety. Yesterday, we shared our "Holiday Highlights" and it sounds like everyone had lots of family fun at home! We have now jumped straight back into revising the key concepts covered last term and look forward to learning lots of new things too!

For students working from home, your Work Packages for Term 2 are now available on the School Websitehttps://www.wattlegroveps.wa.edu.au/, or at the Department of Education’s Connect website https://connect.det.wa.edu.au using the user names and passwords issued by email. You may also like to leave a comment on the blog, sharing some of your holiday highlights.

Thanks for your ongoing support and co-operation during this unusual time.
Stay safe,
Miss B

Have an 'egg'cellent break!

Wishing you all a safe and happy Easter break. The holidays are a great time to read lots of books, or play some games with your family. Perhaps you can even keep a journal of all the exciting things you got up to!

Remember to have lots of fun and to always be kind to others.

I miss you,
Miss B

Year 3 Literacy Pro Update

Hi Year 3s,

I wanted to give you a Literacy Pro update. A few weeks ago now, we set our  ambitious goal of reading 1 000 000 words, by the end of Term 1. We still have a little way to go, so I wanted to encourage you to keep reading and quizzing, even if you're not at school. The upcoming holidays are also a perfect time to relax with a good book.

Congratulations to Tahlia, who has now earnt her Blue Certificate
I hope that you're all staying safe and healthy.
Miss B :)
