Hi everyone,
Just a reminder that the School Centenary Fete is on this Sunday from 11-4:00 pm. Our class has been asked to donate a plant to be sold at the fete. Donations would be most appreciated. Please bring along your potted plant to Room 12, where it will be looked after until the weekend.
It is going to be an awesome day- not to be missed!

Welcome Back for Term 4
Welcome back everyone for Term 4! It is going to be action packed and filled with lots of learning and consolidating as the students transform into nearly Year 3s and 4s!
Test Books
Just a reminder that test books are due back this Friday, October 16th. Assessment is ongoing throughout the term and the students add to these regularly. All pages need to be in tact and the reflection sheet signed by a parent/guardian.
It is vital that students maintain a consistent attendance. Each day of school matters! If an absence is unavoidable, it must be reported to the school via phone, school app or verbal communication. Irregular attendance impacts the continuity of learning.
Library Changes
Room 12 will now be attending the library fortnightly but for a double session. They will be able to borrow on the odd weeks during class time. Alternatively, they can continue to swap books before, after and at lunch time, on days when the library is open.
Edu Dance
This term, we are participating in weekly dancing lessons, practising a routine that will be performed at the end of year Presentation Night. We are combining with the Year 2's from Room 14 and had an absolute ball in our first lesson today! Thanks for the prompt payment and return of permission slips :)

Student Fete
On Thursday 27th of August we had our Student Fete. My class sold lots of scrumptious slushies! They were delicious. Before the fete every team had to make a plan.
My job was to think of of how we needed to decorate our stall. It was interesting. My team's name was the Decorating Team.
The part of the fete I liked the most was helping my team. I had to talk nicely to the customers. Then, I had to find a cup and fill the cups with slushies. Then I had to put a straw in the cup and give it to the customers. Farin
The day was a great success and we made $107.65, to use on resources for our classroom. What will we choose? Thanks to all the parents for the wonderful costumes. I've included some of the photos from our "Room 12 Fashion Parade" for your enjoyment!

WOW Board- Last Chance!
Hi,
If you haven't had a chance to see our WOW writing yet, now's the time. Our marvellous muddled up fairy tales are currently on display in Room 12. However, next week the Wow Board will be going to a new home. Thanks to all the parents who have already come to see the students' work. I'm sure you are just as proud of them as I am! Elaha's fabulous work, which she read out at our assembly, is attached below for your enjoyment.

Assembly Tomorrow!
Hi,
As I'm sure you have been made aware by the kids, it's Room 12's assembly tomorrow! How exciting! The door will be opening at 8:25 for students to collect their props etc. We will be moving to the Undercover Area at 8:30. If you arrive late, please drop off your bag and meet us down there :)
As this is a Junior Assembly, there will be no Room 12 Merit Certificates, however these will be presented at the next Senior Assembly,
It would be great to see some familiar faces in the crowd...I really hope you can make it,
Miss B :)
