This will be taking place tomorrow morning, on the grass outside the library. Please ensure children arrive to school on time so that we can commence promptly. In class, we have been talking about why we commemorate ANZAC Day and some of the symbols and traditions associated with this occasion. A special mention to Mia who did some additional research at home! Here are some of our reflections:
We acknowledge ANZAC Day on the 25th of April every year. We have one minute silence if silence to show our respect for the soldiers that died at war. People wear poppies as a symbol of remembrance of the men that risked their lives for us. ~Mia

Just a reminder that there is no school for the students tomorrow. Wishing every one a safe and happy Easter break. To those travelling to exciting places, remember to take lots of photos and perhaps even keep a journal, to remember all the fun you've had.
