HARMONY DAY 2014
On Thursday the 20th of March, we celebrated Harmony Day. Room 12 discussed what Harmony Day meant and decided it was about celebrating all the people living together in Australia peacefully and making sure that we treat everyone with respect. The festivities started with a parade in the under cover area, where we modeled our fabulous national costumes. Thank you for taking the time to dress your children in such beautiful and creative costumes! We then took a leisurely stroll through the "Garden of Harmony" and spotted our hands that we had made in Art. Then, in the afternoon, we met our big buddies from Mr Sanderson's Year 4/5/6 class. We had a great time with them making our Harmony Day hand print wreath!
