In Science, we have been finishing off our Biological Sciences unit. Students have been enjoying the Investigation Centre set up in the back of the classroom- classifying animals and making claims about some most mysterious specimens!Last week, Students worked in their Collaborative Teams to categorise animals into groups, using a Branching Key. We have been making lots of new discoveries about what features make a specimen living or non-living and the differences between a plant and animal. We were fascinated to learn about the sneaky Venus Fly Trap, which is a plant that acts suspiciously like an animal!
