In
HASS the students have been using books from the library and the Kiddle search
engine, to research a significant celebration/commemoration. They have been
refining their note taking skills to complete an overview of their special day,
answering key questions. In Week 10, the students will be presenting their
findings to their peers. Some students have even transferred the IT skills
we’ve been learning in the Lab and have created a Power Point to supplement
their presentation. I have been impressed with the students’ dedication and
initiative. Students are familiar with the rubric below.
