Last week, we celebrated NAIDOC Week, kicking
off with a special assembly. The students sung a beautiful song in the
Aboriginal language that they had learnt in Music. Kate and Legacy were
fortunate to be selected to start a Tucker Bush Garden (located near Room 16),
where they planted some flowers and foods, native to WA. A big thank you to Mrs
Yarran, who came and shared her culture with the students and to Legacy who
showcased some dancing and his didgeridoo skills! We also joined with our K/PP
buddies to do some fun NAIDOC activities.
