On Friday, May 26th, Wattle Grove held a "Go Red" Day to develop awareness of Cystic Fibrosis, This is one of the most common, life threatening diseases, affecting children. Every four days a baby born will have the degenerative respiratory illness.
Room 23 did a fabulous job selling merchandise and raffle tickets for the cause and, together with the generous donations of families, Wattle Grove Primary raised over $2300! The funds will go towards hopefully finding a cure for this condition.
Congratulations to Sharnie and Cameorn, who won first and second place in the raffle, winning a bouquet of a dozen roses and a box of Roses chocolates. Thanks again for supporting this event and all your generous donations.
