Literacy Pro is continuing to be a popular activity among the Year 3s. It is great to see the students so engaged in reading books. Last week, students Lexile level was retested and a letter was sent home. It was pleasing to see that most students had maid significant gains in their level of reading comprehension. Students are reminded to choose books at their level, read the whole book and take the quiz straight after completing the book to increase their pass rate.Toby Bailye was presented with a Blue Certificate at the last Senior Assembly and has read over 156 000 words this term! Most impressive, Toby. I'm sure all the students in Room 12 will be keeping Mrs Grainger busy typing up many more certificates!
