STEM Project- Habitat Dioramas

This term the students have been studying biology and learning to classify animals, according to their characteristics. Animals make adaptations to survive in their environment. For example, some animals camouflage. Students were given the challenge of creating a jungle, arctic, pond, garden, underground or ocean habitat. Their model had to include living, non-living, once living and products of living things. The students’ models were OUTSTANDING! To celebrate, we had a “Gallery Walk” where students could appreciate the hard work of their peers.
