In History last semester, we were learning about special celebrations
around the world. Miss Balogh kindly invited us into her classroom for a special
history lesson about the origin of Halloween and some of the things her family do
back home in America. The students worked with their Year 6 buddies to scoop out
the pumpkins and separate and soak the seeds. Miss Balogh then carved the pumpkins
into Jack-o-Lanterns. They looked so cool with the pretend flickering candles
inside! The students also made some spooky decorations.
