Green Thumbs

Last term, we planted some basil seedlings in our Room 14 garden. With a combined effort of some autumn rain and the loving care of our class gardeners, our basil plants have flourished. Yesterday the students got to pick some basil leaves to take home. They noticed the strong smell. We talked about some of the things we use basil for. Remember to rinse the basil leaves first.
