HASS- Past and Present

This term, we have begun our History unit and have been looking at ways things have improved and changed over time. This week we learnt about different forms of communication. We played a game of Charades and then talked about how communication can be verbal and non-verbal and that devices such as the telephone, computers etc. have made it easier for us to communicate with each other, even when far away. Students sorted images of various forms of communication into past and present categories. Some things, such as letters, are still used today, but just look a little different. We finished up with researching Alexander Graham Bell, who is most famous for inventing the telephone.
