I was most impressed at the way the students independently prepared
for the student fete. They were organised and co-operated well to design our
stall. The marketing team kicked the week off by preparing and performing a rhyming
skit at the special spruiking assembly. A number of the teams worked together
to make, laminate and put posters around the school, while the design team busily
prepared our stall display. It was all hands on deck making the biscuits- lots
of messy fun! Thanks to all the parents for your generation donations. The rain
didn’t dampen our spirits on fete fay, although, we did have to relocate. The
students did a great job selling the biscuits and counting the change and displayed
excellent customer service. The finance committee helped count the money at the
end. We managed to raise a total of $73.45. The profit team and ideas team will
now have to collaborate to work out what to spend this on. After a vote, chess and
new books for our class library were popular suggestions.
