In Room 14, we
love celebrating the success of our friends. A number of students participated
in the ICAS and Australian Mathematics Competitions earlier in the year,
receiving their results and certificates last week. Both competitions were
extremely challenging and the students should be very proud of their efforts.
It has been
pleasing to see a number of students regularly doing quizzes on Literacy Pro.
As a class, Room 14 have read over 5 000 000 words and have maintained an 85%
pass rate. With two weeks still left of school, we are hoping to read 6 000 000
words by the end of the year! Congratulations to Liam who was presented with a
special award for the most improved reading comprehension results. Further
congratulations to Noel and Ashton who were awarded their Silver and Bronze
awards at the last senior assembly.
Then, of course,
there are our Term 4 Merit Award Winners. Congratulations to these students for
your hard work over Term 4. We are very proud of you!
