This week’s reading strategy was Creating Images. This is where we paint a picture in our mind of what we are reading. Over Week 7, we read a poem about a haunted house. We talked about how the author has used descriptive language to give the reader a curious feeling about the house and why it was abandoned. As we read the poem, we drew what we pictured in our minds and then shared, using a Stand Up, Hand Up, Pair Up.
